FULL VIEW PLEASE (even though it's been shunk, there's still plenty of texture going on...)Happy Holidays, whatever holiday that may be for you ^_^
Why Meng always winds up tinted sepia when I color her...no clue. But it fit for this one. She's supposed to look like an old-style illustration. If you've ever seen the opening credits for Mickey's Christmas Carol, think of that.
She's dressed, more or less, for St. Lucia Day [link] which is a Scandinavian mid-winter light festival. Ever since I heard of the holiday--way back when, when I first got my Kirsten doll--I've loved the look of the wreath w/candles that she wears as a headdress. So someone had to be St Lucia for my holiday pic...Meng drew the lucky number, I suppose. Hope her hair doesn't light on fire...
In retrospect, I should have gone with Toph (because Lucia is the patron saint of blindness...and then because if her hair did light on fire, well, then Sokka's cactus juice induced comment would fit "Who lit Toph on fire?"), but I only realized that afterwards...of course. Same voice, so I get partial credit? Besides, Meng looks adorable with her gravity-defying braids weighed down by bells and bows. Or I think she does. Anyways...

I love Meng; she was so sweet. And I actually think she would have been a better choice for the St. Lucia's girl (yeah, St. Lucia is the patron saint of blindness, good point--but still, Meng looks adorable.) I immideatley thought of Kirsten when I saw this...way back when I still had American Girls...^_^ Beautiful jo

I've seen a tiny fragment and want to see more. Summary:
Aang's idea of 'fun' is pure squee. The Water chick got herself caught intentionally and motivated a bunch of Earth dudes to try and escape from some idiot running an army for Fire, and then a creepy one-eyed fire dude (Zuko?) showed up at the end and... whee.
Much fun. I wish I didn't work as late so I could catch it more often.
Sorry if spoilers. I honestly have no idea. ^^

LOL I know where you are in the series, then. Good stuff, good stuff. You're still very early in it. You saw "Imprisioned," the episode with Haru.
Naw, you couldn't spoil any of it for me. I've seen all of the episodes by now. All 40 of 'em. You've got some catching up to do. I'm not sure anymore when they show old episodes, but it's probably a good time for that since we're between seasons. Good luck catching them. If you're into downloading episodes, there's a place I can show you where you can download and watch them. They're just rec off Nick, but it's a good way to catch a epi you missed.

XD I have no idea. But I caught another one.. probably a ways off from the last, since it's been some weeks. Everyone was all running around after this king who was stuck in a box, and the lemur kidnapped a toddler and... well. I haven't fully gotten my head around it. *s*
Ooh. I tend to dislike dling episodes, but for something that's so impossible for me to watch as it directly coincides with work and something that, if I like a lot, I'll probably end up buying.. I might make an exception! Where, o mighty Penbee, might I find such a thing?

Oh, yes. That second episode you saw put you at the start of Season Two. Good episode also, but you still haven't managed to come upon my favorites episodes. ^^ I'm just glad you're enjoying them.
I know what you mean about dling. I only actually started to do that with Avatar because I learned how to make fanvids and it seemed like an interesting endeavor...but I can only do that with episodes on my HD. therefore, I dL. I figure it'll be totally fine in the end. I already have all of Season One on purchased DVd, and will have season 2 and 3 when their boxed sets roll around...so it all works out.
