Description It's Patrick Jane from the show 'The Mentalist'! Woot! Also it's a Christmas Present for someone. See, I never got out of the whole 'make people presents' stage in my life. I'm a mature woman! I'll do what I want!

I've wanted to draw his hair since I saw the first episode of this series. It's so poofy, curly, and shiny how could anyone resist The series is really great so I do recommend it. First episode is rather poop though. But the rest of the episodes I've seen are tight well written packages of condensed awesome. I'm only on the third season but catching up fast!

Very Nice! I love your shading & you captured his physical features quite well. The curves of his mouth, those dimples, that swoosh in his hair, those lazy eyes....beautiful portrait piece!

Very realistic and great shading. I also like his happy smile. You might want to tell us which pencils you used in your artist's comment? I am always interested in such details, even though my preferred medium is GIMP.

I just used a Ticonderoga, my favorite brand, HB pencil and a generic mechanical pencil. Since it wasn't anything special I didn't think I should bother. But I see your point. Perhaps I should add that in the description. Thanks!
