Yeah it's true. XD If you screw up the eyes it's almost pointless to finish the rest of the image as everything will just look off. And it's so true! D:
XD Thanks so much!

The pacifist approach to Returns is underappreciated by everyone. I thought it was a more mature look towards the Man of Steel yet a bit to emotionaly plain, he would show not too much reaction from critical situations like lois almost dying several times, car almost killing a crowd, earthquake harming hundreds, people stealing from his fortress. The first Superman films had that happy outlook towards the public, it kept reminding us how he was a farm boy at heart and enjoyed the freedom his abilities granted. He felt more human which is the key defference from Batman (accept it or not). Returns felt more like the peronality of a God, not a man like Reeve. Remember, if there's one thing Superman does not want is to be worshiped as a god. Cheers to fans everywhere... and to our American icon, Superman, who's greatest power was to inspire us all.

Yeah I don't really get the hate Returns gets. I liked the pacifist approach mainly because he wasn't going against heavy hitters and there wasn't a reason to throw a punch. It would have been unfair and that's not Superman. But he didn't seem to show enough emotional reactions your so right. Or much inner turmoil over not getting to raise his son for that matter. But the religions themes seem to be all over the place. Even the main poster with him looking down on Earth he seems to be a pose many artist depict Mary or Jesus. And although Superman doesn't want to be worshiped as a god people do tend to do that, for example the superman cult in the comics. And it always bothered me that Superman never seemed to go out of his way to break that nonsense up. At least I haven't found an issue where he does. (Is there one? Cause I'd want to read that.) So I think they wanted to focus on how people view him more than how he views the world. I dunno. XD I enjoyed it.
Thanks!

Eh, stuff's on hold again. Been spending a lot of my spare time trying to hang out with the boyfriend. The weird weather's been causing a lot of pain, so I haven't been up to pushing myself with the art. At the moment I'm bed-ridden with a nasty stomach virus since Friday @_@
No, I'm not gonna go to Tekko if we don't get in. Otakon's enough for me as far as attending a con recreationaly.
