Simon Baker - Patrick Jane (The Mentalist)Phew, this actually came out better than I hoped.
I was honestly afraid that this was getting me nowhere and that all the sketching I had already done on this was utterly wasted.
I already mentioned this on the WIP I posted earlier, but I made the mistake of buying the wrong sketching paper and I ended up with this rather thick, textured paper that is a complete nightmare to work with for me.
I love to work with, albeit heavy quality, smooth paper that helps me blend the graphite much easier. This paper is making blending very difficult.
I do hope you'll like him though, I'd love to hear if you do (and also if you don't of course

Amazing! Sometimes when drawing real people they somehow seem different even though they look real, if you get what I mean. But this is definitely Simon Baker. Shame you couldn't draw on your usual paper to make it even more astounding, but this is really good as well!

This is AMAZING! I don't even know where to start... the hair looks super realistic, same with the eyes. You captured his personality very well. You also captured all the little details (wrinkles, facial hair, etc.) beautifully. I also want to point out that you draw teeth very well... whenever I draw them they look like candy

This was my first time drawing teeth actually.
I wasn't looking forward to drawing them, but I found an amazing tutorial on the internet that really helped me loads.

If you hadn't told me you felt you had messed up on this one, I never would have known it. I think he looks spectacular! And you know I'm always in awe of your talent ... but also very impressed with how you have been working so hard to develop your skills in different directions. That takes a lot of dedication and determination. Yay for you!!
