Description

A rough concept for a character I've had in my head for a while. She's a actually a crackship baby, but I'm kinda disconnecting her from that universe, since that ship is kinda impossible anyway (both of them being very-very dead-ified). I guess she also accidentally ended up looking like a Dodger x Rita puppy but that was unintentional x'D. She's really a collie-mix, not a Saluki x Terrior hybrid.

Named her Joselyn, or 'Jaz' as her nickname. I may make a proper ref for her later. She is Artie's best-friend and future waifu. Being as she was orphaned at a young age and grew up on the streets, Joselyn rarely smiles and is often stoic to a fault. She also knows to mess up her fur and put on a gruff, masculine voice in order to avoid creeps. She's also used to living under harsh living conditions and being extra resourceful all in the effort to stay alive.

She hardly even blinks or reacts whenever Artie throws a tantrum, nor does she really care when he barks back at 'high-authority' figures. She's had to overcome worse. So, Artie kinda fanboys over her. He thinks she's super brave and secretly wishes that he was as stoic and unresponsive as her. He also wishes that she would smile more, but oh well, it's a work in progress. Joselyn also doesn't understand the concept of 'pranks', they confuse her greatly, poor kid doesn't know how to laugh.

But she really does have a very raw and unfiltered way of looking at things, and the ability to stomach and endure way more hardships than should be possible for anyone of her age. She doesn't sugarcoat stuff, because she simply doesn't know how and never bothered to learn. The bandana around her neck is the only thing she has left of her parents. Unfortunately, any traces or scents of them have faded over time, but she has an almost delusional attachment to it and often nuzzles into it when she sleeps, all in the effort to at least dream of the family that she lost.
