As said to ..."Nooooo ... don't rub that belly! She doesn't take to belly-rubs. But she loves to sleep with her head resting on a part of the human --- hand, arm, etc. She doesn't sleep in the human's lap, and is not comfortable about being carried either. But loves petting and stroking and hugging (on her level, that is, no lifting her off the floor or bed)and having her feet held (but not her hand). Massaging down the back is good, but not the front (that includes belly-rubs).
"She is very clear about what she likes/dislikes ... we are always telling her "too many rules, too many rules"!
