Yay! Axel!I really didn't like Axel in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, but during KHII I found myself completely adoring him-- his motivation throughout the story was intriguing, then sweet. It's interesting to find such a cocky character whose only real motive is a friend (or more?). I tried, however, to make him seem less cocky and more wistful here.
Anyway I was also experimenting with colors a little, trying to match cool and warm. I'm not sure how successful I was.
The piece isn't entirely completed, I have a bg in mind for when I have more time.
I didn't sell any copies of this-- people are more into the idea of Axel being cocky than sympathetic. Oh well.

I really like how the color combos turned out, I keep wanting to say that it's peaceful, but every so often I feel a note of tension . . . Either way, I really like what you have so far of this!
