On account of this, I'm showing you some very, very old artworks -- older than the first drawing from this gallery. I had to dig them out of my old computer that accumulates dust in a cupboard...
May I introduce you to shorthaired GINNY, HERMIONE who twirls her hair over her shoulder (still like the idea -- should draw her like that again), DRACO early in the morning (judged at the state of his hair
) and my very first HARRY (didn't remember that I've always drawn him with his scar in the middle of his forehead. I thought, that I might have drawn him like in the movies...)I sort of like them... again. They're that old, that I just can't get me to care about the mistakes. They're just my first attempts to get my mental image of the characters on paper -- or better: on screen

Danke... ich finde sie irgendwie witzig, total nicht das was ich heute zeichne... meine Mutter allerdings mag diese viel lieber als das was ich heute mache. Ich glaube, dass das Portrait von Ginny ihre liebste von all meinen Zeichnungen ist... sie hat zwar keine Ahnung wer das ist, nur das es eine HP Figur ist, die ich gerne mit dem spitzen Blonden zusammen hΓ€tte, auch wenn es (jetzt noch) nicht im Buch steht...

Draco's Gesicht gefΓ€llt mir nicht besonders, irgendwie zu breit und zu kantig. Kurzhaar-Ginny ist aber cool.. ich habe sie mir immer sehr jungenhaft vorgestellt. Aber eben, dann kam HBP and die langen Haare...... Ich stelle sie mir aber noch mit einer jungenhaften (= keine) Figur vor, einem besonders schlechten Kleidungsgeschmack und einen Hang Blicke auf sich zu ziehen dank dem billigen effekt tiefer Ausschnitte. Letzteres mag nicht besonders canon sein, aber da sie in HBP ein richtiges Flittchen ist, hat sich dieses Bild bei mir eingeprΓ€gt...

I hated to look at them for a long time too... but after a while, this feeling vanishes. I mean, when you look at your old works and then at your new ones, you can think "Wow, I've become really good!" If you would still draw like 2 or 3 years ago, there were no point to be proud of your archievements

I'll wait until that time comes xD my first drawing is almost scary ;_; and I was so proud of it... oh, well, I guess that if I hadn't liked them in the first place, I would have never improved...
By the way, what did you draw the very first time you grabbed a pencil? (drawings made during Kindergarden do not count as proper drawings xD)

Sorry for the late answer...
I don't remember my first drawing. I'm pretty sure, that it was a horse, tough. As a small child, I was infamous for drawing horses all the time. That was already before I went to the Kindergarden
I've started to draw humans only when I was at about 18 years old. Bit since then, I draw almost nothing else. My first HP character was Malfoy, obviously

Horses? xD I only drew dudes with no body (their arms and legs sticked right out of their heads) on my refrigerator
But my first proper drawing was a very anime-ish version of me and three friends... it doesn't look like us at all, but I was so happy with it that it made me want to keep on drawing... that was almost three years ago... O_o it's absolutely awful, we're all with our mouths open and our hands behind our backs (I had no idea about how to draw hands) and since I got tired of drawing the eyes, the last two have this style -> [link]
