Hades: the Lord of the Underworld

Design Aspect
Hades is based on Greek God, Hades and his guard dog, Cerberus. I based Hades on three different games, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry and Smite. I like Devil May Cry’s idea of having three heads have different elements, implemented on my Orochi but different. You can visibly see the right and the left heads’ elemental affiliation, the right head emitting smoky breath while the left frost breath. The centre head has horns modelled after Smite’s Hades’ Grim Wraith skin. His body’s main colours are different shades of brown.

Visually, Hades appears to have three heads but also can have only one head. When merges his three heads, his eyes would change colour and has a merge of fire and ice for his mane.

History
In Greek myths, Hades is the God of the Dead and King of the Underworld to his brothers' Kingship over the Skies and Sea. He is also known as Pluto in Roman mythology. Unlike like his brothers, Hades is often misunderstood as an evil entity due to his association towards the underworld and the dead. The Titan Hades was rarely spoken, most likely due to how the people of ancient Greece's views on death and the underworld in general. In general, Hades was said to rarely surface from the underworld and only had surfaced during a few occasions. One of them involving the kidnapping of another Titan possibly due to looking similar to him, it was suggested that said Titan was either food or to be his mate. That Titan was unfortunately not seen later, suggesting that the Titan may had been eaten.

In the present, Hades was found under the Caliboaia Cave located at Apuseni Natural Park, Bihor County, Romania. When he was found, Hades only appeared to have a single head while Monarch scientists claimed that Monarch archaeologists may had found exaggerated depiction of ancient people's depiction of Hades. Hades looks like a gigantic dog and he was considered to be called something else instead. But it was later found that Hades has a thermal system within his body which can generate heat and cold. Before they could find out more, Ghidorah's call is heard Earth wide and Hades was disturbed by the call. Upon awakening, Hades' mane lit up as well as frost up and his head suddenly split into three with elemental features. After breaking out of the containment, Hades roamed around Romania for a while before deciding that the surface world was too bright, and dug underground to an unknown location.

It should be noted that after the discovery of the hollow Earth in the oceans, Hades was later discovered again by the reformed Monarch deep beneath the Earth. It was known in Ancient times as the Underworld, where a biodiversity of species are found.

Powers and Abilities
Hades is a canine Titan and is similar to that of a dog. But later on, he was found out to have the description of a Cerberus. The most unusual ability of Hades, is the ability to split his singular head into three different ones. It should be noted that how Hades' head is able to split is unexplored at the moment. However, his singular head can bite and apparently causes frost burns. But when split into three, the main head bites normally but the right creates a scorched mark when bit on and the left creates a frost bite. Hades' strength is undetermined but it is assumed that he is able to take down Titans' bigger than him.

Hades' main ability seemed to be his control over the underworld which he is able to manipulate the earth around him. Also being the lord of the mythical "underworld", he is able to absorb dead creatures including Titans to regenerate himself or another being. He is also able to manipulate a combination of ice-fire and cyromagma. The ice and fire he generates is apparently so hot or cold that it either burns (when covered in ice) or freezes (when surrounded by flames).

It should be noted when his head splits, his right head is able to generate fire (as hot as magma which can freeze) while his left head generates ice and frost (which can burn). Hades is found to be one of a few Titans that dwells underground and prefers darkness. He gets extremely irritated and easily blinded by intense sunlight. It seemed that he surfaced to the ground when it is an overcast or during the night.
