Thank you so much! I must say the updated version instantly became one of my top ten personal favourites. I am really glad you like it and I appreciate the constructive criticism on the previous version. Without you, this model would never be as good as it could. I based it on a photograph and didn't realize the perspective was slightly off, which made the front of its body look shorter. XD

"difficult" is very relative in this case, but none of the fins were more troublesome than the previous version. I have just changed the location of a few folds to move the fin backwards, but the folds are still more or less the same. I got lucky that it worked out so smoothly in this case though. changing the position of a feature like this causes trouble most of the time and oftenly requires the whole model to be redesigned from scratch based on the new requirements. for example, I have long been bothered by the fact that my diplocaulus model doesn't have an obvious neck, but so far I have failed to come up with a structure that would solve this problem. It's still a hit or miss thing for me sometimes.

That is quite a lot of planning. It's amazing what you make with origami.

yeah, it does take time, sometimes it feels like I'm planning more than I'm folding...

Withhold yourself before you fold yourself.
