Description
Concept of energy SMG.Code name: Beamer
Its intended for female character. To bring fun I designed it more like the jewel then gun. To make it eye-catching I used red shiny color.
3d work is not heavy. Simple design with easier modeling suited into bright materials. I didnt use mat. textures.
Instead of mag I placed energy barrel in rear section and horizontal position for this case.

This is awesome, thinking on the functionality this would be an awesome behind cover gun. think of the trigger system where it can rotate on all axis. the trigger can be vertical an the gun it self horizontal. That be awesome. The only thing tho if this gun was real it seems front heavy, the back end looks a bit simple even tho it looks cool. Would love to 3d print this gun some day. But yea great work.

I love this weapon.
I like the fact it looks like the P90 of the beam world.
The circle triger looks great and looks very hand friendly.
The stock does not look like it moves, but keep it that way cause it should only move just enugh to put the charge pack(ammo).
The charge pack should have a LED display on it to show how much charge is left, but it would need to be covered so it cant be seen in battle.
Along with a safty switch it should have a discharge switch. So you can have different settings like light, stun, burn, kill, and just to be evil incinerate. But each setting would have to take a certain amount of the charge.
I like the hylo scope thats on it. It looks like it comes standard with the gun but it should be able to have changeable sights.
Lastly it needs to come in different colors for different missions.
All in all i love this gun. I wish it was real because i want one.

It looks alot like Lightnings gunblade to me. WHICH IS AWESOME: I mean imagine her getting a Energy beam surrounding the blade, or shooting Beams with SMG speed. What an upgrade to her current specs.

Is the weapon full ambidexterous? It appears that the safety selector is intended for southpaws using the trigger finger to change the position.

While the design looks pretty sleak, I think some people would accidently shoot themselves since the stock looks like the barrel.

Where do you get your inspiration from? Your weapons are beautiful. They remind me of "Final Fantasy" (especially the new one coming out) FF13 Versus.

Your weapon designs are rather remarkable and inspiring. As a fan of SMGs, I think this gorgeous piece of future hardware would look great in the hands of ANY space marine! Well, maybe more like a character from Borderlands or something. Hahhaha!
