Yah, the thing I really like about M-LOK is that while you're not using it, it's not abrasive to the hand. The rails, if you actually try to grip right on exposed rails it actually digs into your hand. The solution to that are rail covers. Problem there is now it makes the grip really bulky with the rails sticking out and then the covers on top of them. The M-Lok system, on the other hand, feel smooth to the touch so you can just leave them be even if you have nothing attached. They do make M-Lok covers as well, but they don't really add bulk to the gun. They are versatile in that there are many accessories made to attach directly to M-Lok, vertical foregrips, angled foregrips, QD adaptors, etc. And if you have older accessories that attach to rails, they also have rail sections you can attach to the M-Lok, and they come in many different lengths so you don't need to put a full-length rail just to attach a flashlight for example. You can put a short section of rail just long enough for the mount of the flashlight to attach.
The one downside to M-Lok when compared to rails is that so far the accessories made for it require tools to attach and to take off while there are many quick detach solutions for rails where you can add or remove things without the need of any tools.
To show you an example of a firearm with the M-Lok system, I've attached a picture of one of my rifles with a M-Lok handguard.

Hi mate. tnx you for all those review. you are right about free pistol grip. Concepters prefer the grip with thumb hole as it is easier to incorporate into desing. (Flow of profile is easier to make) but in reality free pistol grip is definitely better choice. and also tnx for that ide of M-LOK. I fjust view it on google and it looks interestings.Β

Tremendous amount of work. Looks beautifully sharp thanks to photoshop downscaling im guessing. If i was to be fussy i would want it to have some kind of visible fusion pod or something in the center where i could see glowing plasma.Β

tnx you mate. I didnt downscale it. vray has output nice enough to get it. In photoshop I just little increased sharpness. and you know there is always room for improving. next time I maybe do that plasma working inside. bye.Β

Peterku: your shotgun design season shows improvements. Some parts look like they deserve to be interchangeable or be reused in other weapons as well. The Shot-G's "barrel" and handguards look like they can fit to a rifle system as well. As for my concerns: May I suggest? There might be more challenge and growth if you tried other kinds of aesthetics in weapon design. Your weapons are surely good, they are all following a predictable pattern of crisp and clean "available for consumers" type look. Maybe after all the shotguns are finished; things might feel more diverse with a few other weapon types such as a more dirtier and militia improvised design like a weaponized mining laser or something cobbled up together for a utilitarian military. You could also try challenging yourself by making energy weapons for aliens instead of humans and change the ergonomics. The Covenant weapons from Halo are a good example, they don't look comfortable cause they aren't made for human hands.

tnx mate. dont need to be worried to make critic. I use it for improving so I always call for. yea. it would take a lot of time to make all smaller part all over againΒ on each model therefore I use them over and over. have some desings to finish and then maybe I will try some alien's.Β

Would it work like a cluster of smaller laser beams fired out in multiple gradually diverging lines?

This looks a lot more like a shotgun, in no small part thanks to that big barrel! Good work on this, I can definitely see it projecting a long, conical wave of plasma and having to cool its firing chamber between each shot.
As for the position, gonna have to agree it would look better if not upside down but still, this is a very solid piece.
