this is an older digital drawing. i did it early in the year 2007. it was a kind of proto-artwork for a little computer game with a story-setting within the cthulhu mythos.

i had no graphic tablet, only a pencil and solid photoshop skills.

it surely has its flaws, but in this case i quite like them. the proportions don't seem right, the grey-shading doesn't really work out. but it's rough, sinister and the strange humanoid cthulhu in the background exudes some kind of menace...

of course great cthulhu is much, much more than just a shadowy menace...
