long story...
After the doctors appointment which the doc failed to see mouth ulcer or anything inside the mouth. A week later, it's the dentist appointment to have a check up. Ling Ling explained the problem that her mum has and the whole situation about seeing the doctor as well. The dentist takes a look and can see the mouth ulcer and the sores inside and also the red dots on the roof of the mouth. She (the dentist) says red dots on the roof of the mouth might be cause of some virus or something. About the mouth ulcer not healing she will write a referral to hospital for it to be checked out and would need to take photographs of it to send over as well. Not sure how long it will take but wait for hospital to get in contact...maybe a few days.

Days later, on a Saturday Ling Ling received a letter through the post and says the hospital will phone you by Friday, if you haven't received a call by then phone them. Friday had just gone and there weren't any phonecalls the last few days and it's closed during the weekend. Ling Ling thinking what should she do...phone the hospital on Monday or wait to see if they phone on Monday. Jadiete suggest to wait for the call instead as they didn't phone the last few days and might be late at doing things as usual. If they haven't phone by late afternoon, phone them to ask. To Ling Ling waiting till Monday feels like a long time to get things sorted out. She doesn't like phoning as it takes a really really long time having to go through many stages of pressing 1 or 2 and waiting for someone to pick up.

Monday comes, the oral and maxillofacial department from hospital phones Ling Ling to make and confirm an appointment for her mum. Also booking an interpreter because hospital rules "family and friends aren't allowed to translate". Ling Ling had to double check to make sure the correct language (cantonese) interpreter is booked because in the past they booked wrong language (chinese mandarin).

(Also there's one time, an interpreter only spoke in chinese mandarin, told nurse that Ling Ling mum won't talk to her and that she (the interpreter) "IS" speaking "cantonese". Ling Ling's mum came out the room and told Ling Ling to tell the nurse the interpreter is faking translating.
Ling Ling explained to the nurse. But did the nurse listen...no.... the nurse rather believe the fake language interpreter instead and went ahead with it, so whatever consented forms for getting injection says who knows, just sign and go ahead.
luckily it's just some CT scan or something which Ling Ling's mum knows the procedure and can manage to understand basic English words of what to do because Ling Ling wasn't allowed to be in the room.
The interpreter was useless and just there to fake interpreting and get papers signed to get paid. hope that never happens again.)

A week later...it's a Tuesday the oral appointment at the hospital, waited 2 hours and seen the doctor for about 10 minutes. The Doctor asked how did the ulcer occur and what health problems does Ling Ling's mum have. It's so long the list that Ling Ling tries to list the medical history her mum has and when...what year it started even though she's not good at memorising stuff. You would've have thought they would use their computer to find the details, it's not the first time seeing doctors at hospitals or at doctors surgery. They have all patients with medical details on computer nowaday not like in the past when its all paper form in bulk folders. What's the point of recording details on computers and then having to restart all over again when being seen....

After all talks done and simple examination, torch to look inside around mouth. The doctor says a biopsy needs to be done to find out what going on. So more waiting...
