Description One of my favorite seasons for sure, and a million times better than the first all stars. Loved the cast for the most part, although the boot order was pretty disappointing because a lot of good characters from earlier seasons were eliminated early this season, so they didn't have a chance to shine. And the people who made the merge... there were some good ones, but a lot of them were not as likeable as some of the early boots. Overall though, I pretty much liked a good 4/5ths of this cast, and although the editing was kind of sucky (Russell...) it was still a very solid season.

20. James Clement (14th Place)
Surprise, Russell’s not last... In his past seasons, I always saw James as a little bit of a jerk... but this season it really showed, and I think it was obvious to everybody. He just didn’t seem to be having a good time at all, and he took it out on his tribemates, and it was really irritating to deal with James. Lower than Russell because this season honestly tarnished Jame’s reputation, whereas Russell was pretty much already hated.

19. Russell Hantz (3rd Place)
Would be last if I didn’t hate James so much this season... not even explaining why.

18. Sugar Kiper (20th Place)
Talk about major change from her first time playing. Sugar was actually pretty likeable in Gabon, and I was rooting for her to win (althogh now I hear that it was a complete act, and that’s nothing to what she’s like in real life). But in Heroes VS Villains she was just annoying. The whole following Colby around scene was pretty much the only thing memorable about her, and it kind of just tainted my opinion of her...

17. Randy Bailey (18th Place)
Gabon was pretty disappointing this season... Randy wasn’t nearly as entertaining as he was in Gabon, and honestly, he’s pretty much forgettable this season. But he didn’t annoy me so he ranks higher than Sugar.

16. Candice Woodcock (8th Place)
She was pretty boring this season. She had the whole flip move thing, but it really only lasted an episode... and by the end of the season it’s pretty much forgettable that she was even on this season.

15. Cirie Fields (17th Place)
Cirie was pretty disappointing this season, probably because she didn’t last long enough. Her gameplay was there, but she was taken out too early to really be memorable. Definitely my least favorite performance from Cirie.

14. Tyson Apostol (15th Place)
Meh, kind of boring this season. He had a few entertaining confessionals, like Colby getting owned by Coach. Plus he had a really stupid move that makes you think... how the hell does this guy win in a future season? At this point, I think Tyson was still semi-likeable for me...

13. J.T. Thomas (10th Place)
First off, I don’t think JT made the stupidest move ever... because had he been correct, it would have been an extreme game changing move that could have gotten JT much farther in the game. This is where Russell’s advantage came most into play, because I’m sure had JT seen Samoa before going to Heroes VS Villains, he would have never given him the idol. Other than that move, JT was a little forgettablel this season. I know he played more villainous, but in the end he sort of just fizzled out in my memory.

12. Rob Mariano (13th Place)
This season was my favorite performance out of Rob’s returning seasons (I still think his Marquesas performance was the most entertaining). One thing I’ll give Russell credit for was making Rob lose pretty much all power this season, and it was actually fun to watch Rob not have control of the game.

11. Amanda Kimmel (9th Place)
Sort of UTR this season, but I can’t help but put her this high simply because of the Danielle fight for the clue thing. That was epic.

10. Rupert Boneham (6th Place)
Still not as entertaining as he was in Pearl Islands, but this beats his All Stars performance. He was on the bottom pretty much all of the merge, and it was very fun watching him and Sandra play together again... and Sandra trying to work with him to get Russell out like... every round pretty much.

9. Coach Wade (12th Place)
So much better than Tocantins (probably because he didn’t get as much screentime)... but I actually found Coach entertaining in this season. His sort of relationship with Jerri was so random, and for some reason it was easier not to take Coach seriously this season. I could still go back and watch Tocantins and hate him there, but for some reason I like him in Heroes VS Villaisn. Don’t know why.

8. Stephenie LaGrossa (19th Place)
I think Stephenie is one of those players that I will always like no matter what. She was a lot more likeable this season than she was in Guatemala, but still not as good as Palau... mostly because she was eliminated early and never really had any chance to shine. I still enjoyed seeing her this season, and I want her to come back for a 4th time.

7. Tom Westman (16th Place)
I honestly liked this version of Tom so much more than the one we saw in Palau. Looking back on Palau, I honestly think Tom was more of a villain... but here he proved he was a hero. His alliance with Colby and them being the underdogs was a nice little storyline, and him finding the idol to stay an extra round was cool. Wish he lasted longer.

6. Danielle DiLorenzo (7th Place)
Like I said before, I’ve always liked Danielle, and I was actually extremely happy when I found out she was returning to this seasons (whereas everybody else was like “Wtf, why is she back?). I think Danielle had a better gameplay this season, but she ended up getting screwed over by Russell’s stupidity.

5. Colby Donaldson (5th Place)
Maybe he was disappointing in challenges (whether he threw them or not, I still don’t know), but Colby had so much more personality this season then I think he did in any of his other seasons. He was pretty much always the underdog this season, and I liked watching him trying to gain a better position in the game. His duo with Tom was one of my favourites from this season, and then him and Rupert pretty much automatically became a duo at the merge, which was also a fun one.

4. Parvati Shallow (2nd Place)
I think it took her a little too long to turn on Russell, but I kind of understand that she didn’t really know he was as big a liar as he was. It kind of sucks that she was associated with Russell for so much of the game, but still... Parvati was fun to watch, especially when it turned into Parvati VS Russell.

3. Jerri Manthey (4th Place)
I was rooting for Jerri big time this season. She seemed a lot more low key this season than in the others, but it was actually nice to see that from her. She played a very good game, and I think she would have been a good winner (except Sandra is a better one). But she got taken out right before the finals... imagine a Jerri, Parvati, Sandra final 3. That would have been awesome.

2. Courtney Yates (11th Place)
So much fun to watch Courtney play again, and it kind of sucked that she was so UTR, but still I always watched her for her fun little moments. Plus her being on the jury turned out to be a good thing, because she was hilarious sitting on the jury bench with her crazy laughing, and her “You do that” *Thumbs Up* To Jeff getting the votes. Still one of (if not my) favourite Survivor ever, and I do wish she comes back for a 3rd time. Maybe season 30?

1. Sandra Diaz-Twine (Winner)
Everything that needs to be said about Sandra has already been said. Part of me wants her to return to a future season, but part of me doesn’t want her to risk her winning streak.

(Chimchar being a condescending sexist? What a surprise!)

Anyways, I like this season but it had a lot of faults so I can't say I'm a big fan of it like everyone else is.

-- I was actually Team James the whole season. He was the exact same James as he was the other times, only the other times he played he was fighting with outcasts like Peih-Gee and Eliza, or making fun of Jean-Robert. This time he's picking on AMERICA'S SWEETHEART ZOMG!!!! who screwed up an entire immunity challenge for them in the second episode and tried acting obnoxious about it, sorry bout it. I think the only season I didn't like James in was Micronesia.

-- No comment on Russell.

-- Sugar was a lulzy first boot but there've been better.

-- Randy was eh this season.

-- Candice only recieved a personality in BvW and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. She was amazing and the family emotion brought out the best in her that season. This season...eh, nothing noteworthy at all. She flipped again. Hooray.

-- Cirie was a non-factor this season and this season was proof of why she should never be brought back again - she'll always target the entertaining characters who she can't control and keep the dullards like Candice and Amanda in.

-- Tyson ruined the season by keeping Russell in.

-- I love JT's perception transition from super-hero to slimy villain in this season. It almost makes having to sit through his annoying boring Tocantins appearance worth it.

-- I'd put Rob way higher. Maybe Top 2/3. He had one of the best transition arcs of his season and going from the kid who voted out leaders just to take a stand against that sort of thing to his tribe's leader was a great transformation. It's just a shame Redemption Island happened.

-- Amanda is definitely a contestant on Survivor, yes.

-- Rupert was amazing this season and almost measured up to his Pearl Islands appearance in how amazing he was. Pre-merge was sort of eh but post-merge was nothing but pure righteousness against Russell. He could play 20 times and I'd still watch him every time.

-- Coach was amazing this season like he always is. Just got to learn not to take him as seriously as he takes himself and you'll enjoy him whenever he's on screen.

-- Stephenie's only above Russell in my own season ranking. Her actual personality came out and revealed how self-absorbed she actually is. She ruined that entire second immunity challenge and cost her tribe the win and James was 100% in the right to get pissed off at her. It's no wonder the "strongest female ever" has only ever won a single individual challenge.

-- Tom was great as an underdog this season. Of course him being voted off over James was one of the stupid decisions of all time.

-- Danielle's hard to care about because of lack of screentime but she was the surprising voice of reason within the minority villains alliance. Watch her final TC and you'll see why Russell will never win Survivor, though.

-- Colby was cool this season.

-- This is probably my favourite Parvati season only because she was so bleh in Micronesia and she wasn't really a factor in Cook Islands. Not much else to say except I'd rank her around this high too.

-- Jerri was amazing and the fact that they removed her and Colby's reconciliation from the show is one of the biggest crimes of humanity.

-- Courtney was still cool as an underdog but she needed more screentime than she got.

-- All hail the queen, baby.

Not much else to say about Nicaragua except I hope you love Fabio, hate Jane and think Brenda is overrated. Anything on top of that is an acceptable opinion.

Yeah, had Tyson not made that stupid move the game would have been completely different. And a lot of people don't like Stephenie and say she's overrated, but I still like her haha

And I pretty much finished watching Nicaragua a month ago... I just have to watch the finale and then finished. Pretty much agree with your opinions, except I like Brenda

I like Brenda too, it's just that I'm probably going to roll my eyes dramatically at you if you say something like "Easily Top 5 female contestants of all time" or something similar.

Rice and Beans <3

I am getting to watch HvV and I got to the Steph boot. I don't get the Palau duo love so much in this ranking but it's your opinion, I just think they didn't shine in the episodes they were in.

But I love James so your reasoning of why you like Steph and Tom is basically my reasoning for liking James. Nice ranking, I can almost agree from the episodes I've watched.

I've always liked Stephenie, and I don't know... I just liked seeing Tom in more of an underdog role this season rather than the controled position he had in Palau.

You're lucky I'm rooting for your Survivor sprite series, because your rankings are very awful. But, it's alright; you don't know any better. *pats you on the head* Good luck with your comics!
