This one is great, the shading isnt that bad, also it depends of where you chose the light would come from.

as it looks now, it seems the light source is in the upper left corner AND from underneath, dont mean to pick on you but... you know how to shade things, but this looks confusing.

I'm actually going to agree with you that the shading and maybe some other things are not what they could be, but only because I've seen your other work and know what you're capable of (don't know how early in your workings this is though)...I do like the femininity of it though...would be nice to see you do a really polished 'girl' dragon...I don't think we get enough of those

I think girl dragons should look even meaner than the guy dragons though. Kind of the way female spiders are often more ferocious than the male ones.

I think you shading not that bad, it's a little to dark from the eyes to the nose, but the rest works.
