Description *Throws sense of anatomy out the window*

I'm not sure if it's done or not... I was thinking maybe I should paint it... but I dunno. The colours would be pretty flat anyway.

Recently saw a picture of a lobster and the claws reminded me of how I feel when I attempt knitting with my man hands.

"Granny Lobster knits a scarf for one of her grandchildren who lives down past the continental shelf. It gets pretty cold down there."

how much of a sense of anatomy do you need when drawing a cartoony anthropomorphic lobster? Besides, it looks great to me.
Man, I feel much the same trying to knit, and i don't even have the man-hands excuse. Any lobster could out-do me in knitting and all other habedashery.
nice inking, by the way - i especially like the swirly texture on her back for some reason.

Anatomy is important no matter what one draws.

I like the swirly texture too. It was one of those afterthoughts that ends up working well.

Omg this is amazing! Super hilarious and it’s done so well. I think it’s funnier in black and white. Kinda like an old school children’s book illustration.

Ah, I can’t knit to save my life. And I have thin woman fingers...

Yeah, I think I like it fine in black and white too. Especially since it means I won't have to try to paint on bristol board. XD

Really? Hm. I'm just awfully slow. And I hold the needles wrong. D:

Don't you DARE color this. She's beautiful just like that.

Ahaha, ok. Everyone seems to like it the way it is, so no colour will be added.

THAT is the cutest thing I have ever seen you draw. And possibly the most creative thing I have ever seen ANYONE draw. I would NEVER think of something like this! So cool/adorable!!

Do not color. It's perfect like this. I bet this would sell pretty well as a print up here. Soooooooo many people like nautical themed things up here. I blame Cape Cod.

I'd like nautical themed things more if they weren't so excessively used in decorating bathrooms down here. XD

Why is it always in bathrooms!!?? I know bathrooms have water and stuff but come on...be more creative then that people.

XD I think it has ruined a little bit of my love for nautical things... I don't know why people insist on it, but I wish they wouldn't.

My bathroom has antique maps of London and Paris instead.

Much nicer! Mines blue and white...but nothing nautical in it. Thank goodness. I wanted it to be burgundy though...: (

Yeah, I like that it turned out reminiscently Victorian. Usually I don't end up drawing my random whimsies but this one seemed like a pretty good one.

Thanks for the favourite.

Sometimes it is nice to do something charmingand gentle. you cant be brutal and scary all the timeor your work will lose its shock value. I like seeing this side of your art. it gives a glimpse into a tender, kind soul.
