EDIT I changed "Groovy Ishida" because I ended up making Inoue from that same ref pic, and figured it would be nice to photograph them together. It looks like Hime is telling Uryuu a secret... (hence, the title which means "secret" in japanese.) He doesn't look too pleased; maybe she just told him that she's madly in love with Ichigo, and he's jealous.

Commissioned by the lovely *debbiechan I absolutely LOVE making Bleach characters in casual wear.
If anyone wants a plush involving Bleach+casual clothes, I swear, I'll make time in my schedule to take on the commission! Kubo-sensei has drawn the characters in so many outfits, but I also like to invent my own according to the character's personality (example: Ulquiorra dressed as an emo kid).

The only thing I took the liberty of deviating from are the shoes, since they're not teal like in the ref. It's because I couldn't find the exact fabric, so I instead chose a floral print with matching colours of his clothes.
(Debbie, if you don't like it, I can make shoes out of teal fabric and then paint the floral design; and basically copy what's in the ref! If you feel it's important, just let me know and it can be done! But I thought this fabric would look nice with his clothes, so that's why I went ahead and made it like that.)

I glued the glasses near the bridge of the "nose" and on the side so it's not visible. I used this plastic that I got from a cover of an agenda. It's great stuff, but I'd have no idea where to get it when I run out!

I looked at the link, i have that pic hanging on my wall in my bedroom. Lawl, i've never seen a good looking plush of uryu. i have one, its a doll of him from the arrancar arc, so it has no legs and its kinda chib. I love my plush though. xD . Good job, it's very cute.

He's adorable! What did you use for his glasses? From this pic, they look like some type of plastic... And are they secured with a type of glue or sewn on? If you made them removable then that would be awesome! *squee!* He's looks so stylish and squishable!

It's some sort of plastic that I got from this agenda I never used (from some sort of protective cover for the front page). They're secured with glue. I don't think these plushies can have removable glasses since they don't have noses or ears!

I actually did a lot of Bleach re-reading the past few days... I really love all the characters and I want to make a lot more of them.

And that is exactly the reason why Ulqui looks bad in green! Too overpowering... Maybe a nice grey or taupe colour would be okay... or white with black dress shirt... I think Shinji would look really good in pinstripes too, but a lighter colour...... rofl why am I talking on and on about suits... orz

Ah yes, I agree about being overpowered.. but if I were to dress Ulqui in emo clothes, I'd give him green accents (like you know those long-sleeved shirts where the sleeves are striped? A lot of emo kids where them.. it's usually black and red, but you see black with other colours.. Anyways, ulqui's would be green... but he'd mainly be in black since he's emo!)
