For my brother, Nick! I hope this helps your project!This is a scene from the book "Dragon's Bait" by Vivian Vande Velde my brother and I read. Alys, accused of witchcraft, is tied up by her village as a sacrifice for a dragon nearby. The dragon ignores her at first, but, deciding she'd rather die quickly by a dragon then by wolves, Alys does the oh so smart thing of feebly throwing a tiny rock at the dragon and waving her arms around. That attracts the dragon's attention, since it's not everyday you have a little girl throwing rocks at you, so he comes down to investigate. To Alys' surprise, the dragon can take on human form if he so desires, and he offers her, out of boredom, help to take revenge on the villages because...well...revenge amuses him.
It was a pretty good little book; a few plot holes, nothing too hard to read...but it was pretty fun.
Who doesn't love dragons? This took like...7 or 8 hours.... because holy crap you have no idea how long the scales took....

i got rushed to finish it because of school. almost all dragon books that i find are at the school libary. idk why. so i couldn't finish the ending wish i wanted to read so i could find out what happened

I would just like to say...THANK YOU for drawing Selendrile as a dragon! There are very few pics of him on here as it is, and even fewer of ones of him in his true form...so thanks!
