No, you are so wrong. Good luck, if you truly believe this. I hope and pray that you open your eyes.

I don't get the meaning for this. I am a Christian and I consider my eyes to be fairly open as well as my mind to be the same.

I will not deny that there are a lot of jackasses that will not pass a second thought to label your way of thinking as "wrong" simply because they think their own, and their's alone, is "right". HOWEVER, is that ernestly a just enough cause to say that ALL whom believe that there is a greater force then us is automatically a blight upon the planet?

I really don't think you can argue that "god" causes conflict. When you break the big picture down, EVERYTHING has been used to justify ANYTHING: Wealth, power, respect, justice, even freedom.

With that said, even if religion never existed, people would just find another reason to kill eachother.

"HOWEVER, is that ernestly a just enough cause to say that ALL whom believe that there is a greater force then us is automatically a blight upon the planet?"

Yes, because religion offers nothing positive to society.
And sure, even without religion, there'd be war. But there'd be far less. It's no coincedence that the most violent societies are the most religious.

What a bold concept, you presented it very nicely.

Religion is how you work it. I am not Christian but
I live in a part of the world where 80% are. I see
a lot of intolerance but they preach tolerance. I see
a lot of murdering yet they preach people to "turn
the other cheek". Religion is hypocrisy at it's finest.
On the other hand, there are great Christians that
feed the homeless, donate time, energy and money to
the needy etc. I can't say all Christians are hypocrites
but the typical American Christian is, so I have noticed.

(I used Christianity as an example because you have used the bible)

Kudos to you for stating your opinion. It's difficult
to relay an idea such as this without getting demonized.
I think you need no critiquing, it is what it is, very
nicely portrayed and a bold move.

I am drawn in by this picture... Obviously there is passion involved. Hard to create a work in which a knife/dagger is being stabbed through a (Christian) Bible and not have passion naturally emanate.
I guess I agree (in a non-exclusive manner) as long as you define religion carefully... Religion and faith are two VERY different terms and though come up similarly in conversation... should be used with caution.
If you had 'Faith' in there... I might have problems!

It's easy to blame religion for killing when really it's just us. You don't honestly believe there wouldn't be problems without religion on earth, right?

... This was an Allied Poster to show what the Germans supposedly did. In WWII the Himmler's SS planned on burning down all the synagogues, churches, and mosques. In the name of science, of course.

I like the feel of this photo, very nice. Very dramatic and gets the point across. Really, though, if you wanted to get specific here, the belief and following of God doesn't kill, it's the religious loonies who go on a rampage thinking that they're doing what God wants them to, and therefore completely contradicting their beliefs in the first place.

I believe in god, but religion is just the manmade earthly sinde of faith - another form of administartion.

...you might say, that it is necessary for a population in order to create a value system - and you might be right.

...but I already have my values.

I like this work; effective, in-your-face propaganda is the only way to make the faithfull think rather than simply believe.

I am confident that one day reason will triumph over faith, but that day is many years, wars and revolutions away yet. Until then, keep up the good work.

i like the work, but disagree somewhat on the meaning!

I think that religion for the sake of it, something that is only taken seriously to get out of something else (like wearing a hat or something..) and to have a 'reason' to go to war.

Religion, and i speak personally of my own (Christianity), has many interpretations, but in my own, the role model is the king of love, one who tells us to love others, help the poor and needy, think of others before ourselves, etc. As i read elsewhere: "It's not religion, it's love!"

I am a believer and follower of Jesus, not religious. That word isn't right for what I am, what I do.
