Description For anyone who doesn't know this goes along with my Stargate story SG-1 K9: [link]

Squeee! It's Jackson's daughter all grown up. I don't think Daniel and Jackson are ready to be the 'fathers' of such a creature, she looks like trouble.

And if she ends up with Sam, well, there's just no hope for anyone is there?

She is going to become part of the Jackson cannon. She will partner with Sam, but since she's only 1/4 Wulf she won't have the exsact same switching powers as Jackson.

SHE NEEDS A NAME!!!

So, I'm open to suggestions! I would name her 'Carter', but Jack already calls Sam that and it would be confusing. But I was thinking something sciency for her name so that they still blend well.

Any thoughts? If I get a few I'll post a poll with them!

So that's part of why I suggested Julia. You don't have to understand Julia Set math to know it's cool. Kinda like Carter herself.

Just saw your drawing. AWWW! What a pretty Wulf! And I really Love that fluffy white tail! I even like her different colored eyes! That gives her character. You said you were looking for "ancient" names, how about Isis? Or maybe the the Greek goddess of hunting, Diana? Just a couple of names I thought of. Thanks for posting that. You should put her in your Jackson comic pages. That would be neat! That's a good idea having her work with Sam. I'm sure Sam would love to have her. She really took to Jackson pretty quick, so I know she'll really his daughter.

She's gonna be a trouble maker! She's kinda already in the comic...but she's just a pup at the time. I love dogs with odd coloured eyes. I'd give her a Goddess name, but there are so many Goa'uld that have those names and I don't think Danny wants a Goa'uld dog.

I think Sam and Amara(according to the poll of names so far) are going to do great togther!

Just catching up on the comments after Halloween. Hope you had a good one! I agree about naming her after a goa'uld goddess. That wouldn't go over too good with Daniel. I think Amara is a good name too. I like that name. I noticed you haven't closed your poll yet, so I hope you find her a good name. But it looks like everyone liked Amara.

I agree, I think Sam and "Amara" will be great together. Sam really likes her, and I think she likes Sam too. I think they would make a great team! Looking forward to seeing some of their off world adventures. Cool!

I always thought that "Gadget" or "Gizmo" would be a good codename for Carter, so maybe one of those? I'd suggest "Doohickey", but that just doesn't flow as well. XD;

Not entierly sure if it's Sumerian or Akkadian (quite rusty in the lingual department for that part of the world at that time I'm afraid) but as far as I can make out:

Kalbian: should translate into something like 'Dog of the Heaven'

or my favourite...

Not common, but they are way cool. I've seen cats that way too. And if you have a white cat with one blue eye and one yellow eye the cat will be deaf in the ear that has the blue eye!

Hmmm... as for names, might I suggest Zahina? It's Arabic and means "intelligence". I figure it would work well, what with her eventually being Sam's partner and all.
