I got him from a breeder in California. I live in Minnesota and since I couldn't be home when he came in I had him delivered to the local FedEx/Kinkos. When they got a box marked 'Live Animal' the staff was just dying to know what was inside. 
He's a great little snake!

I don't recall the exact info...they were in Las Vegas. I have a new computer now, so I have none of my book marks. I do know I found them through [link] by typing in House snake into the classified search.
These are GREAT snakes! Males stay a lot smaller than females. they breed at the drop of a hat!

Gabriel is a Striped African House Snake. They are wonderful, easy to feed, easy to care for, breed like rats in captivity. The only reason they aren't popular pets is the fact that they don't have very many colour morphs.

thank you ^^ I have thought about getting a snake, a very small one (my mother hates large snakes) I already have a lizard, and I wanted to get a new animal ^^ (I have a gecko-leopard lizard, his name is Vlad) so thank you for telling me the species of this particular snake.

The males stay much smaller than the females. The males are around 17 to 20 inches, but the females can push six feet (although they stay slender).
I would suggest these little guys! Wonderful, easy care pets!!

It isn't as big as you think because they stay so slender, but they are much bigger. Also with the males you don't have to worry about egg binding.
