I drew my OC Arabella again, and I don't know why
I've pretty much only drawn her as a chibi (fullbody at least) so I wanted to do it properly.

I'm not entirely sure what the story is behind this kid, but the tears, cuts and bruises already give off some dark implications for something so cute. Which is good by the way, its a nice bit of tonal contrast that I think serves to strengthen the viewer's gaze should they take a more careful look at this once adorable artwork at a cursory glance.
There's a stunning amount of detail put into the artwork here, particular favorites of mine being the lighting on her hair and the glowing gold outlining on her irises.
For what little context I have to grasp here, it tells a very sombre story about a little kid bruised and cut up left out in the cold, putting on a brave face despite her circumstances which makes Arrie's depiction here all the more tragic.
But all in all this is fantastic! Nice work dude/dudette.

I had a lot of fun with the eyes. I generally do big shines in eyes, but I didn't do them in this cause I like to think she has duller eyes.

I wouldn't be discouraged, it really does well to add a little extra shine to the artwork which makes for a nice focus point.

Hiya! I'm from and I'm here to help you improve this awesome artwork!
So, to start out I wanted to say all of the things I absolutely love about this image. I really adore the colours used for this image! The bright highlights on the hair bring attention to it and the eyes are adorable! I really like how you managed to get the yellow and the blue work together to make her outfit. Speaking of colour, I also like how all the colours (except the hair) is pastel. That's probably just a personal thing but I do really like it. Despite how I agree that the snow could look better, the background looks really nice! I especially adore the bubbles (are they bubbles or snow?) above the girl. I think it adds to the whole calm look of the piece. Although I don't know much about the character, I can guess that she's a stronger type of person (mentally not physically however she could be a boxer, what do I know?) by the fact that she is crying and smiling at the same time. Overall, I love the design of the character and the way this picture has been drawn
Now, my critique. I'd first like to congratulate you for making an image that I can only find a few faults in, usually I find tons of them so well done. Her shoulders look too small for her body and I think they should be widened, if only slightly. Her knees were what seemed to annoy me the most. I understand if it is just the artstyle however I personally think that her knees almost look as if they are sagging into her leg. They are also slightly too high on her leg. That's just something I found after staring at this picture for a while. They would be beneath her yellow socks, not above them.
Despite the few faults I could find, I really like this picture! Keep up the good work ^-^

It was originally meant to be snow, but it was just way too big and I had the idea of making them look like bubbles and I suppose it worked?
I hardly ever draw bare legs now that I think about it.. Normally I do the knees differently but I suppose I just kind of forgot.
