Well, it IS an action comic. And in action movies and comics, either the henchmen always have poor aiming, or good guys and gals are impervious to bullets. That's like action-stuff 101

I CALL BULLSH#$! I mean last time I checked unicorns don't have super-powered reflexes. It's like trying to dodge a bullet at the last moment. Let alone being fast enough to catch it with magic in midair. The bullet's insanely fast.

Aye... different universe, different rules.
Buuuuut..... were we to think like those unicorn cheaters normally do....
1) shield spell that concentrates the force on contact.
2) saw the fly by and anticipated the shots, thus slowing them from the moment they left the barrel.
3) Shining Armor or Vinyl Scratch. >.<
4) controlled teleportation to deplete velocity.
5) plot armor / the Worf Effect.
6) "Contingency" effect/spell from D&D (When I'm going to be shot, expend all my awesomesauce to stop the bullets).
7) Rainbow's a decent, but not great shot; and Sparky there is good at putting on a show.
8) For the first time in recorded history, looking dark and mysterious ACTUALLY made someone more powerful.
9) It is BS, but at least it looked cool enough that RD is wondering if they're looking for a marefriend. o.O?

I can't help but feel like you need to raise the stakes a little bit, as it stands the protagonist are all completely immune from harm. And any sense of mystery surrounding Celestia hasn't been addressed in quite some time. I guess what I'm saying is: Less action, more plot please.
