Back in...........2017(?), me, ArcherVale and Fidgetheart did an art secret santa, and we decided to do another one again this year (this time including our other friend off tumblr!). Funnily enough, I managed to get Midge AGAIN (I got her back in 2017 too). On her list of things she liked, she put both Clint and Natasha as well as cryptids, especially Mothman....so I decided to combine the two!

I guess this can be seen in several ways. Maybe this is an au where they're cryptid hunters rather than SHIELD agents/Avengers? Or maybe it's a SHIELD/Avengers mission - or just something they're doing for the hell of it? I don't know, take it how you like! Either way, it's a fun idea and I really like it. In the picture, I reckon they heard stories about a creature in the woods and went to check it out....Natasha is sort of like 'huh I still can't see any sign of it...' whereas Clint turned around at...the wrong moment and saw Mothman was right behind him ahahahahahah
