Aaaand it's time for more Mistborn fanarts! yaaaay!This here's Vin. I'm sure you all know Vin.
Pretty proud of this picture. Been doing a reread of the Mistborn series, and I've finally gotten to the third book. This, though, is more of a first-book Vin. Yep, that there's an obsidian knife.
Drawn in linguistics class, no reference around, but the pose was inspired by this stock picture , and also by the fact that Vin does a lot of perching.
It's sketchy, yes - sketchlines went unerased on purpose, so as to give an illusion of mists/not being able to see rightly, and also because Vin is ... sketchy?
That is, Vin is a rougher character earlier in the series.I've drawn her as Valette, too - here . Hope to color these one day, maybe. If I get good enough at photoshop.
Final note: no spoilers, please! I'm only halfway through Hero of Ages now.
