So apparently I am on a crazy stint of productivity because I got this one made yesterday and finished today. One of my students at the workshop made a sun mask, and it gave me some new ideas to try on my own. This is the same pattern that I have used before, but I integrated a lot more carving and some of the dimensional painting that I like so much.It is made from 4 oz leather, hand carved and shaped on a life cast. Since we were at a workshop full of musicians who play Baroque music, they immediately named it after Louis the XIV.

this is a 3 dimensional sculpture that no one can possibly steal electronically. why put a watermark on it? no one can download a physical object.
No matter how good my photographs are, I will not put a dA watermark on them. At least put a watermark of your own devising on it, so that peopel will remember you, the artist who made it, and not some ugly dA watermark plastered all over your gorgeous work!
