Description I still like Digimon.

From left to right, top to bottom, it's Renamon, Gabumon, Tokomon, Biyomon, and Patamon. Patamon is still my favorite one.

They came out okay. Again, for the variations of gray it's useful to use "Silver."

These are small and should all fit onto one or two plates.

Perler & Hama beads. You can get them at craft stores & Toys R Us. Hama is from Europe, Perler is USA.

Those are AWESOME! I'm especially partial to the Renamon...

How did you go about making these? And what are they made out of?

Go to the Rag Shoppe, yo. They got them thar plastic "Perler beads."

They're in the kid's craft section, close to the registers & big plastic dinosaur & animal toys. That's the Left side of the store from the entrance facing in.
At least, they should be there... they sold out of big tubs for about 2 or 3 months & only recently restocked. If they're sold out again then Jo-Ann Fabrics might have some. Toys R Us has them too, by the other beads.

They're awesome! I can't believe how realistic they look. o_o It's like a real pixel art thingy.

Did you get a pattern off the internet, or did you just put the beads together yourself?

Sorta both. You can download the original video game sprite images from a lot of internet web sites. Try typing "Game Sprites" into google and see what comes up. You download those little .gifs, then open them up in Photoshop or whatever, and magnify them so that you can see each individual pixel clearly.

Then you put the beads together on a big pegboard, by the power of your own two hands, using the blown-up sprite image on your computer monitor as a reference for the bead's relative location. I do not print the sprite .gifs.

I'm sure that technically speaking, there's a way to print them out and then put the paper underneath a clear pegboard, but, I don't know what size they should be in that case. Print a sprite at the wrong size and you won't get the pegs on the pegboard to align with the pixels on paper proper.

And i'm sure that if you want to you could make a pixel image yourself, in MSpaint or whatever, and then make ur own perler bead monster based off of that. I'm not really much of a pixel designer.

Ooo...I shall have to try that sometime. ^.^ I'd be neat to have an Impmon sprite to hang someplace. o.o Thanks for the info!
