Description
These are some visual novel backgrounds I drew for my otome game Tailor Tales. tailortales.wordpress.com/I went for a simple art style, with a front-on perspective so that I was able to quickly draw a bunch of them without feeling burned out by creating very detailed backgrounds. So far, my game has over 35 unique backgrounds, with many more planned. I hope to be able to release these backgrounds for other people to use in their visual novels

I really like the way you design - love those smooth and clean enviroments which givs such a a great vibe to games (no matter wether tilesets or backgrounds)

I've always used Adobe Photoshop for all of my art, but it's not really which program you use, it's more about what your own skills are as an artist

Thanks! I remember trying to do regular backgrounds at first, with different perspectives and a lot of detail and ... I could barely finish one. With this simple art style, I can create 3 in a single day
