I've been trying to acomplish many things lately, one of them being, one of them being switching to alternate, mediums, less expensive than prismas, and the other main one being get back into the habit of drawing dragons and develop my dragon characters further.

seriously, between the ages of like 3 and 12, dragons were all I drew all I thought about and all I spoke about. I spoke about dragons to the point that few wanted to hang around me because all I would do was talk about dragons XD but for some reason my habitual drawing of them waned, but I really want to start changing that....dragons are just one of those things that I love and have always loved, yet I've never known why I love them so much except for the fact that I just do.

anyway, these blokes are ballpoint pen and gel pen with some parts done in marker, because I felt that the effect I wanted could (to the best of my skill) only be rendered in marker.

these guys aren't characters yet, but that may change, but I've decided that dragons, when quarelling with other dragons will fight with their horns, rather than with fire, since fire would have little effect on another dragon, but also because it takes a lot of energy to breathe fire, and doing that would be just too wasteful for fighting over territory or mates.

I think I'm rooting for the blue dragon, since the other one (whom I'm calling Redbrow for the present) seems scarier in appearance, but if you ask me, he's nothing but show. plus I, personally was more pleased with how mr. blue came out.

I dunno, but I think this might be one of my best samples of pen work thus far, but then again, I would still only consider myself a beginner in the world of pen and ink.
