Description
When one demonic tome is just not enough!!!These were custom-made, full-size blank books based on the Necronomicon from the Evil Dead trilogy. There were over 150 blank parchment pages inside each for the owner to fill with ancient incantations, funeral rituals, resurrection spells and cookie recipes.
The covers were sculpted in clay and cast in latex rubber.
These two pieces are currently in a private collection.

These were special, one-time commissions.
Completed, blank books like these are few and far between.Β
I usually just sell the latex covers for customers to put over their own books due to the labor cost and materials involved.
Currently, I am out of latex to make any more of the covers.

We could have used one of these when we were doing our spook house.

I did that in a couple of my Haunted Houses. I locked it behind a gate and set it up with a shaking effect, steam, screeching and strobe light effects when people walked by it. Scared the poop out of me, too!

I think it's nice to have the two different faces.
The rabid cover has a lot of character to it. I may have to chain it down, though. It keeps flying out the window and attacking the neighbor's Shitzu. LOL

if i had your tlaent i'd be as coolas you^^ maybe you a sell them? i know poepl who doe costumes who wuld lvoe them.. try places onliine and maybe costume shops will buy them they are great replica's!

I actually have sold them before on FeeBay. But I don't sell there as much as I used to. The restrictions a fees have gotten to crazy. Now I mostly just sell my stuff to fellow fans thru forums and smaller auction sites.
I have to be careful about copyright issues, though.
Since I don't actually own the rights to the cover designs, I need to make sure to keep my work unique, but very recognizable.
As for talent...your's shows up in every deviation that you've created.(and in your other artwork) Don't even get me started about your imagination and creatvity! You've got it going on there just fine!! LOL
