Absolutely breaktaking pencil-work. Definitely a favorite. I love the light on the tube that the Metroid is in, as well as her facial expression. The effect of the energy siphoning from her arm cannon is also very well done, offset by the intricate pencilwork on the background and the actual Metroid. Great work. =]

Your portayal of samus is not only beautiful, but ture enough to her image that I wouldnt be surprised if the game creators themselves adopted this kind of look for her. She seems so amazingly human in this work, something rarely seen as her face is always hidden by her helmet. Her expression is that of wonder and yet she seems firm already in whatever method of action she may undertake.
The detailing on the metroids Nuclei is fantastic. My eyes actually run along the deep crevaces and the way you expressed its translucency is grade A. this is one of the best samus works I have ever seen, true to her image and still filled with mystery. Great work

Man, that's incredible... your pencil looks better than many computer drawings. I like the thinner proportions you gave the suit here, make Samus look more human

I love the way you drew the nuclei on the metroid. And her drawing the pick-ups in with her beam is a nice touch.
