Description Glorfindel and Erestor in the First Age. Erestor is a lot younger than Glorfindel.

Sorry for the shitty light effect. I'm still learning. :/ I also imagined it a lot lighter and airier. It just proves that my skills can't yet keep up with my imagination. Argh.

"my skills can't yet keep up with my imagination" - omg, I know that problem x<
The drawing is very sweet, though. I like their expressions and hair. The clothing design is also very good.
Just try out different things little by little, I'm sure you'll handle it someday :3 I'd suggest you to experiment with the layer modes and maybe use the smudge tool here and there as well.

One day, I hope they invent a machine you can just plug into your brain and it will transmit the drawing you're thinking of directly to the computer. It would make like so much easier.

I've noticed I'm slowly getting better at certain things, I just have to keep persevering. Practice makes perfect, after all, even though I've never been much of a paint.
Lol, you have no idea how much I actually smudge stuff.
Layer modes? What's that? (I only use Gimp, just to warn you, unless it's for something very specific.)

x< Omg, just my thoughts! I really want a brain printer ;w;

Yes, the most important thing is to continue practising and to have the patience to practise over and over again x3
Oh, I also only use Gimp for myself o: I have to admit I don't know how it's called in the English version because I use it in German^^" But it should be somewhere along the layer options, it's usually set on "normal". It's quite funny to experiment with that, just try it out if you like to :3

Of course, it /would/ take away all the pleasure of learning how to do those things... But who cares, artists are lazy folk by nature.

Precisely! And it helps to have fun while doing it. I complain a lot, but I'm actually enjoying myself when I draw.
Oh, ok, I can get there, I think! Thank you. Also, it's nice to meet someone else who uses Gimp. Photoshop is expensive and confusing. :/ And my version's so old it won't let me do ctrl+z more than once... =__=;
