She had heard the sound of tapping hooves on the hard ground and followed its course for awhile. It was definitely coming over this way. She had not managed any big catch lately and well, she was hungry again. And she was NOT about to see HER prey be taken away from her again. So whoever it was had definitely taken the wrong turn.
The crimson feline walked in silence, her paws carefully pressing against the stones and dirt as to not make any sound. She waited again, just enough to make sure the dumbass who had come around was well engaged through the only passageway through the rocky path. Then she pounce.
And landed on solid ground again instead of the soft and warm body she was expecting. She roared in both anger and frustration at the dumbass that was apparently much more clever than she expected it to be.
That guy was... weird looking. The horns, the stance the... everything. But he definitely knew what he was doing. She'd have to be careful.
"Tough luck, stranger. You took a wrong turn today..." she growled.
Cervines... They were all so... Pompous. Always so dismissive of everything other than themselves and their kind. At least equine were bold and loud. She could respect that. But the other ones ?...
Rhifel continued to look at the dark cervine who stood strong on his four legs. That was new... Usually they would have turned tail and left already.
Well. If he wanted to dance then it was fine by her.
