Mmm… I like this one… cuse it got saliva in its mouth ^^Or more likely becuse it's detailed.
It’s a pretty old picture too (one of my first "realistic" pokémon), and one of my rare blue-ink-ball-pen pictures. A nifty thing with thouse pens is the possiblility of *very* tiny details.
Amphibian inspired I think. Or reptile maybe, its quite some time ago I made it so I don’t really remember. But I recall they are called "snakes" in the pokédex.

Dunsparce is based on the mythical tsuchinoko. They are snake like mythical creatures that have fangs and viper venom. Although the tsuchinoko itself doesn't have wings like Dunsparce, some myths state that they steal the wings from birds because they are jealous. Tsuchinoko sometimes talk, tricking people into giving them money and booze.
Not something you would expect from typical Dunspace, but I think this drawing captures its darker side nicely.

Though old, I love the penwork in this. I really don't se how some do works entirely by pen... well, I mean, I sorta do.
And you made it look so cute, with its big marble-like eyes and whatnot. =3

dunsparce is based on teh tsuchinoiki (is that how its spelled?) a mythical japanese snake. oh and that dunsparce of yours could bite your arm off

this one looks a little toonier than some of the later works. I think this one might be my favourite AnnaJ work. The tongue, the saliva, the tail, the two tentacles/feelers/fingers on its chin, and the spark of energy in its eyes just make it so brilliant! I noticed you gave it two limbs as opposed to wings. I guess a snake/amphibian thing would look strange with butterfly wings though.
I just want to see it eat a cricket (but not kricketune though. I love those things).

I'm gonna be scared of Dunsparce now... o.O I always imagined them as slow-moving deadish bug beasty critters with chibi wings. Now it's like a salamander monster. Yeah, freakin' awesome picture.

I don't care how it's drawn, this Pokemon is bizarre no matter what you do to it.
Looked like the designers got high and crossed a Bumblebee with a bird and a snake.
