I like this, Muk always reminds me of umm.. Those giant.. something or others.. I think it's a giant salamander, they're big and slimey.

Great description for Muk... I never thought of him being a salamander-like creature, but it makes a lot of sense.
Great drawing too.

Awww, it's... weirdly adorable. XD That's what I always figured Muk was too, some kind of amphibian or fish thing covered in slime... like the real life slime eel/hagfish.

Octoboy-the-8th [2008-09-19 20:33:31 +0000 UTC]
Wow, that's cool. This one isn't as radically different from the original as most of your pokemon, but just the description alone brings this pokemon to life in a way it's never been seen before. Nice.

I always wondered why the in-game pokedex said its footprints were poisonous when it had no obvious feet. A frog-like body would explain that. Nice! ^^

Hmm...never really though of it like that (at least, not until took a similar approach). I think you explained it a little better though, as I don't recall his really mentioning the sludge (I could be wrong).
Very nice job. Hope to see more!

Wow. I never imagined Muk this way. I always thought they were a Pokemon version of a slime mold. Maybe there is a way to combine these two concepts like the Muk having a symbiotic relationship with the slime mold. This is going to take a lot of thought.

Very cool idea, your concept is really neat! Slime molds doesn't get enought spotlight either, it's such an interesting type of organism.

Maybe it could of had a gland for producing toxins to shoot at it's prey or something to slow it down. Or... it could lay small bits of it's sludge on the plants that other creatures would eat, than they would get sick and immobile, than Muk comes back eventually and it's it's sick and tired prey o.o Still, XD That's one heck of great explaination there.
