This is a work with quite some impact. I am not hte best person at interpreting poetry so I might not have gotten the inner most meaning but the way you expressed the ordeal of staying awake, of breathing, of waiting and th expressions that you employed in the description and quite tantilizing (ignore spelling mistakes if any).
Then I also like the style of writing and the imagetry that you produced. Quite wonderful and I enjoyed reading this work in this style. Beautiful use of words, merging modern aesthetics with poetry.

Thank you so much! For me (I don't try to guess what the poems I write will mean for those who read them!) this poem was about trying to stay awake when someone I loved was recovering from an operation. Trying to will their pain away and the slow passing of time when you arent sure if they will wake up again.

It is a little tricky to read in this format too, haha. Thank you!!

Your words steal the breath from my mouth and sink my lungs, closing them for minutes at a time...I have to browse your gallery with patience, I can tell...

Yes, I just had a writers block due to having no mental input. (I was in social isolation for about 7 years until midway through this year, and gradually i ran out of things to say)
