Herro! So today I was at school! The rest of the Patos Team went on a fieldtrip, so I got to stay in the library the whole time. And I was playing around on the computer, and guess what program I found?! GIMP! It was an older version then what I have, but I got used to it quickly!

So I quickly googled a lineart that wasn't too difficult. (I wanted to finish the picture before I left school) And I found this lineart of Chii! And so I decided to color this one!

I tried a new technique in this. I used the airbrush with a special brush for everything except the skin. I noticed this affect by accident actually. Well, I'd seen it done in speedpaints before. (SPEEDPAINT ADDICT! ^^")

So I might be using that technique alot more, because I really like it!

The background is just hmph. I don't know why I made it like that! I wanted Chii to pop out.

The white glowing spots where just me experimenting with the brush, I WAS going to delete them, but I thought it looked kinda cool!

A FUN FACT:

I remember Chobits so fondly! Hideki and Chii! Chobits was actually one of my first animes I had ever seen! And I own part of the manga too!
