The thing about not doing traditional art for a while is that you forget about the amount of hate you can have for a machine, i.e. a scanner. My scanner usually does a wonderful job, but when it does not, it does not.

I saw Agaave 's wonderful works on black paper and they made me miss working on it, so I decided to buy a block of black paper and I knew Chara was perfect for the job. Though she still needs a proper reference.

This was mainly a relaxation piece, I just went with the flow without thinking too much and there are some things that don't look very accurate but this drawing did its job for me, which was to just draw. It's been a while since I've done a personal image like this, it felt so good.

Expect some more serious works on black paper, I've rediscovered my old love for it again c:
