• Personality:  Hokulani is...Something alright. Hokulani is often deep in her thoughts when she thinks seriously and often forgets that she should be looking out when walking and ends up tripping. She's clumsy and has no grace at all, but that won't stop her from getting work done! She's a hardworker who is dedicated to her job at the guild. Hokulani is a very docile person, who isn't a leader but moreso a follower. Hokulani also cares deeply for others very much, putting others before herself in times of need. Hokulani is also very social in the friendship aspect, very open to others and isn't afraid to say hello but.. She's a bit soft-spoken and gets embarrassed very easily due to how clumsy she can be at times and is also very flustered when it comes to flirty remarks towards her. Hokulani wants to care for everyone and wants to make sure people are safe and things get figured out and don't like to dwindle on things for too long or head into things without a plan. Hokulani isn't a fighter either, she's moreso a gentle figure who doesn't do much 'violent' things and often tends to handle things very delicately despite her butter fingers at times. Hokulani is also someone who would help someone before she helps herself, and puts her friends and family before herself. She's feels that it's more important to protect others, than saving yourself as she believes that it's more important to look out for a team than most. Overall Hokulani is a very nice girl with her flaws, as she isn't someone that can stand up for herself and would rather risk her life for others rather than save her own. She isn't shy but she naturally quiet around others, not really one to speak up loudly. Hokulani can be a bit of a worry-wort about the safety of others, which is why she joined the guild to help protect others. Hokulani overall has a good heart, who cares about the well-being of everyone. Hokulani doesn't like leading, but is willing to follow obediently and wouldn't betray anyone she works within a heart a beat and makes sure everyone is alright and taking care of themselves.

• History:
Born to two mothers, thanks to a donor that wasn't in her life- Hokulani was born in the small port town of Emerald Port in a nice and simple house. Hokulani was a young girl who wanted to explore and get into everything, a very curious child indeed but none the less She was raised happily, despite how much she got into things and caused a bit of work for her moms. Both of her parents had worked as jewelers, making jewelry and customs for others in the line of shops near the port, which made a nice income and on the side, Lily also sold snacks like roasted fish on a stick and such. Life was peaceful, Hokulani went to a normal school and made lots of friends quickly due to her natural social abilities and joined her school Choir and begun to fall in love with music. She began to sing more and more, practicing despite her lisp, she wasn't going to give up very easily just yet and begun to practice more and more as the years went on. Hokulani often strolled down the port alot with her friends from school, and was often very close to alot of the other Shop owners due to both of her Mothers being shop owners as well, she did a lot of talking to the other ones when running errands and often had friendly conversations with them.
Soon Hokulani decided that she wanted to be a singer after school as she didn't want to follow the path her mothers did, she wanted to become well known and travel to all over to the other island, she wanted to do what she did best and loved doing, and began to sing on the port to get some extra money for her mothers. When she turned 19, she decided to use this money she got to adopt a bird to learn from vocally, a companion and got herself a Chatot to help her with her singing performances. Of course, the two bonded very quickly and became good partners in crime as they sung, becoming slightly well known in the port. Soon then, in September - the disaster struck and her Chatot, her Chatot attacked her and fled away. She never saw him again, yet he still wore the same ribbon his neck. So one day.. Maybe.. He'd come back...However, Hokulani had more things to worry about and that was fleeing the port after the flooding started, washing away her childhood home along with it. Things were...Just bad. She lost her home, she lost her bird, and not only that was attacked by a feral she trusted. She was shocked that this happened...and things were bad. So she fled from Emerald Port and said goodbye to her mothers who decided they would stay behind to work on rebuilding the shop, she couldn't stay here anymore... She didn't want to remember the bad memories that happened on the day of the disaster. It was terrifying, watching your own house sink away and seeing people drowning...It was scarring. Hokulani couldn't do anything to help the people getting caught in this.
She had to go. She couldn't stay here.

So Hokulani left for Everstone city, and joined the guild. She didn't want to be a coward and run away again like she did in Emerald port, no. She wanted to help people instead of leaving them, hence why she joined and became a more caring person. She didn't want to just end up fleeing again after something bad happens, so she decided to devote herself to helping others. Though she wasn't as talkative as she was back home, Hokulani was still a friendly person with a soft voice.

Sometime in Ruby, she changed form... How mysterious? She will learn to adapt but, it's still quite scary.

- Hokulani never knew her father, he only agreed to be a surrogate since he was a close friend of the Mahoe family. However, he died during the disaster from the house collapsing on him.
- Hokulani loves sweets! She finds them very nice.
- Hokulani is a bit uncomfortable around flying types, especially chatots.
