It is long rumoured that DARKREEP are the guardians to all graveyards, and will absorb the aura of Pokemon passed away. The scythe carried by DARKREEP is used to deliver devastating slashes that will never heal.
DARKREEP does not evolve
LEGENDARY! Same class as Darkrai, in which he is the Pseudo-Uber Legend, second to Arceus. I have my two version mascots done (you'll see 'em shortly, but as shadows)
Darkreep comes from "dark", as well a pun on "creep" and "reap", as in "grim reaper"

Wait a minute the scythe looks alot like a Kabutops blade.

It's complete scratch, I don't use parts from real sprites (except colours, cause I'm lazy 
however that's not to say that Darkreep found a Kabutops skeleton, and it being evil, stole it as an 'inheritance' blade

Well it looks a lot like the sprite, but you seem like an honest guy and I do like the steal the blade idea.

The more you sprite, mainly scratching, you tend to start using your own creations rather than 'real' ones from elsewhere; confidence grows
You'll find that the blades' colours are Marowak's
