I just played the lost silverΒ game and the unown say "leave" and then you see hurry the cyndiquil, my theory is that
hurry was a curse just like loneliness the eevee and the unown wanted gold to abandon hurry but
gold didn't listen and in extended you get a typhlosion named please and you noticed that there is all so an
egg that hatches into hurry implying that please is hurry's mother and that she was slowly dying of a curse and that
gold tried toΒ keep her from dying and he miserably failed and the will say deny and the egg will appear meaning that
the unown wanted gold to deny the egg which would hatch into hurry, so gold tried to keep hurry from dying like his mother but
failed and after it was golds turn to die.....

Nonsense, you original work is beautiful too. I fell in love with it because of the paintbrush style of it and the feeling of hopelessness as Gold reaches out to touch Ho-Oh...
I'm not liking this update because the author seems to be milking the story at this point, and because he never got back to me so now I have personal beef with him. He lost the magic and unique novelty feeling that "Lost Silver" gave at one point as he keeps showing up as a public figure.

There is that. I'm moderately dissapointed. I wish, if he felt the compulsion to finish the story, he had done it when it would have been most meaningful- last year. However, there's not much I can do aout it now, so I feel I may as well try and enjoy it.
In retrospect I think you're right, I do like the other one so much more. I should have done it at a higher resolution, ay me.
