Personality:

Elvira acts like a queen, but not the snooty/prissy type. She surveys everything and everyone with a quiet thoughtfulness. Her walk is one of dignity, grace, and composure. Accordingly, Elvira has an extremely strong sense of what is or isn't fair. She enjoys being in charge of feuds/spats so she can create compromises for both angry horses to benefit from. Peace is always the one and only option; she despises physical violence of any sort. All issues can be talked out! It's extremely rare for her to raise her voice since it isn't ladylike, but will do so in order to bring everyone back under control. Or to make others pay attention if their minds are wandering. She's more of a horse watcher than interacter, preferring to learn the dynamics of the herd at a comfortable distance.

Oddly enough Elvira has a lot of appreciation for others but has no clue how to express it. Instead of vocally saying 'I love you' she generally shows her feelings by quietly resting her head across one's back or shoulder. She'll often find little gifts like pretty rocks or apples to give to her mates. Mostly Elvira dislikes physical contact unless she initiates it, and even then she only can tolerate it for short periods of time.

She does like foals, but more in a cute puppy-dog way. She does have a nurturing side to her and can sometimes be found whispering words of wisdom to a sleepy young one. Elvira hasn't really thought about having any herself...this may change over time, or she may end up adopting.
