The same queen and her robot as in some of my pervious work ie. [link]Why is she making that poor robot dig holes? Maybe they're looking for treasure? Maybe they're making a garden? Maybe she's just being a bitch.

Wow. I must add this to my faves. The gentle, flowing colours are simply beautiful, adding the whimsical and slightly surreal subject matter of the picture. I especially like the way you treat light and shadow, with a minimum of detail that seems to say so much. For some reason this really reminds me of a Miyazaki cartoon. Brilliant work.

I adore this picture. The absurdity of the setup is simply too much and the watercolor lends it this deceptively demure attitude. It's not until you look closely that you see what's going on. Poor bewildered robot. My favorite element? Her elbows.

Thanks again! This one, as with most of my work is essentially watercolour, in that the colour I use is really watered down and applied like you would watercolours. But I actually use almost entirely coloured inks with occasional acrylic or real watercolour. The inks are waterproof so I can build layer after layer without worrying about affecting anything underneath. I also use a lot of white ink, with a light wash of colour over top, it gives a very nice feel of a light colour, but not chalky like if you added white to it!

Nice work! I wish there was more definition on the body of the robot, but the queen looks great! You really captured her attitude and weight shift. I like her head-dress, and the city in the background is a nice touch.
