Description April 2019

First, I'm not great with robot/borg/mecha sort of designs/looks/details. So please no comments about errors in this. This is a mixture of the Flame Cloud borg from Rifts and my own touch.

Ishiguro Suzuko, a human who has been converted into a Flame Cloud Dragon Borg. She was originally from our Rifts game but has been translated into d20 for our home game. ^_^

Before her borg conversion Suzuko was a cyber tech, building and repairing cyborg parts for the Republic of Japan (futuristic Japan in the Rifts setting). But after an accident with a cracked nuclear power system she didn't have too long to live. She had applied for the dragon borg program earlier, and she doesn't know if it was due to her qualifications, or just because the company gave her the faulty power cell and were trying to smooth things over, she was finally accepted. After some mental preparations (it's unsettling for the brain to be in such a non-human form) she received her, painful and long, conversion surgery.

Many dragon borgs gain some sort of mental illness after some time due to being in such a strange body, and Suzuko is no exception. Although, compared to quite a few other dragon borgs she has one that's rather benign. She's a serious otaku, to the point of pure obsession. It's nearly all she thinks or talks about, often comparing everything in her life to something from an anime or video game. She even tends to stick anime decals on her metal chest plate. She's also a great artist (she has upgrades so her claw tip pops out drawing materials) and is constantly drawing fan fiction manga.

Suzuko is my character
Flame Cloud Dragon Borgs are from Rifts from Palladium games
the dusty texture background is from  letzte-Regen

I have to say this because it keeps happening and I hate it. This is not your character. I do not give permission to use her in any way, including roleplaying references or using the character for yourself.
If you didn't need to read that, you're awesome and I'm sorry you had to see it.

I was gonna say, this looks like a Rifts cyborg dragon. (I have Japan and about a dozen other Rifts and Heroes Unlimited Books)

This is sooooo dead on.  Amazing attention to detail.

I started RPing RIFTS the first day it came out! I was GMing TMNT and the ads were in the books, and my friends and I were uber excited. I love the setting, but don't like the system much so in later years we just gave up and pulled our characters over into d20, re-creating them.

I actually met my husband through Rifts.  I was on a BBS with the username 'Ranquillane' who was my fire dragon character. Somebody asked me what a 'ranquillane' was, and when I replied that it was the name of my rifts character another person (my future husband) replied 'RIFTS?! I love rifts!'. Some of my friends knew him saying that he was a good guy so we met up and I invited him into our RP group.

TNMT was one of the first gaming books, and the very first Palladium book I ever got.

Neatness!

Over on the Echoes of the Multiverse forums, I have a friend who's translating Rifts to the Mutants and Masterminds 3rd edition of their take on D20.

Me too!!! \O/ It was the very first RPG book that I ever bought. I was super TMNT obsessed then.
