i dont get how you change the green and red into purple and pink...pls help!

- First, place the green and red lines on two different layers.
- Lock these layers.
- Go the green layer.
- You can now color the green lines with whatever color you want without interfering with the rest of the picture. I used a gradient on my layer, but you can use an airbrush, pencil, paint bucket, etc.
- Do the same for the red layer.

this might sound stupid but i tried locking my layers only to find that i cannot colour on these layers after i have locked them! am i doing something wrong?

Did you use the gray square lock or the black lock? The black lock at the end of the menu will completely protect your layer from any changes. You want to use the first button, which should be a gray and white checkerboard looking square. If you hover over it, it'll say "lock transparent pixels" or something similar. ^__^

I think it looks awesome! Next time maybe make your two gradient colors a little further away from each other, but otherwise, I think you did a really nice job!
