Description for those who have read the books of Terry Goodkind,
this is Kahlan trying to seduce Richard Cypher, in the first half of the first book.
loving each other but unable to be with one another...

just to say, her hair in the left corner is nicer in real life than this, I used photoshop to create the right contrasts, so I am happy with way the colours turned out, but not with the hair, with this drawing I am trying to experiment with 3 kinds of materials.

A3 size bristol, 6B pencil, aquarell and colour pencils, blending sticks, kneaded and sharpened eraser

I literally just finished re-reading this part. I'm on Pillars of Creation (which has been like pulling teeth just to get through), but needed a little Richard/Kahlan break.

This is so gorgeous and totally captures Kahlan's intensity in that scene. LOVELY!

Oh I'm sure I'd like the books more. I only get to catch an episode here and there, so I've never seen them from beginning to end. But I saw "terry goodkind' in the credits and was like, 'whoa! i have some of his books!'

well, I read the first book then seen the series, I love the serie but I do think the only link between the 2 are the characters name
(read it and you'll know what I mean )
