As most of you have probably noticed, red clothing isn't really typical for Wood Trolls to wear and wouldn't blend into the forest well. Well, that's because they're not Wood Troll clothes.

So this is set before Thistle meets Barden and the crew. After she manages to escape with her life, she sneaks onto the ship. Noticing how tattered her clothes and pouch are, she rummages around and manages to find some. (The clothes and pouch were probably some of Ashe's.)
