Just a few doodles of the different types of trolls. After all, Thistle and the Wood Trolls aren't the only kind of trolls.

I've been brainstorming quite a bit lately, and decided it was time to design some people of the other troll races.

Mountain Trolls live where it's cold and snowy (note her furry coat.) They are considerably fierce in battle and can seem very cold to outsiders, but are a generally peaceful and kind group.

Fire Trolls are the great warriors of trollkind. They live underneath a volcano and are led by the fierce Lord Magmus (pictured with his fist clenched.) He hunts down the other trolls and tries to conquer their lands.

Desert Trolls dwell peacefully in the sands. They burrow (note his whiskers and rodent-like tail) to avoid conflict and are generally cowards.

Cave Trolls are somber and nocturnal creatures (note the dark circles under his eyes.) They try to stay as far away from other trolls as possible. However, if a troll is earnest and his/her plight is valiant, Cave Trolls will do what they can to help.

They will probably have names soon enough, but these are just the rough drafts of the characters so far.
