Description generally i do not like taking photos of people when they are posing. even if i do take their photos, i often delete the picture, thinking that when posing, people turn into something else than themselves; but with this photo; even though they are posing i can still see the sorrow, desperation and solitude in their eyes. Belonging to same poor family they'll have no chance for the future. i grieve for their destiny.

We cannot change that we are... but we can change the destiny of some others with actions.

the best part of my life, was when i was a little kid... without problems, concerns or thinking about 'who is going to be tomorrow?'

i really hope that the world, will understand at least, that we are still childrens, playing in a huge fairground.

Let's do the things well.

Wow, this is such a powerful image, so deeply beautiful but still full of despair, full of impending darkness. The composition is reminiscent of antique photographs, so often taken of railroad workers or poverty-stricken farmers, it is a perfect compliment to the concept of this photograph.

Heart-wrenching concept and exquisite execution.

You may see this photo as being hopeless but I see it as being an embodiment of the strength of the human spirit. We all came from childhood and passed into our current age. We all had the same direct stare. There thoughts are our thoughts in the past. You may see no hope in this photo, but I see endless possibilities.

Great arrangement of the children, by the way. Also nice tones.

This is the type of shot that I'd like to hang up and see every morning, just to remind me of the truths of existence.

This is an amazingly emotional photo - each child with a different honest expression (the younger ones seem to have a bit of apprehension in their eyes also). I too see the emotions you voice in your description above but I must say the girl in back has so much joy & hope in her smile, eyes & body.
I can envision her doing her all to change the environment she was born into and creating a better life for herself & family if possible
